Photographer’s Note
Sunrise in that gap between buildings can be captured only in few days during the year: in mid summer the sun rises far too left and by the time it reaches the gap it is too high in the sky. In mid winter it rises far too right and cannot be seen from this spot. I was blessed with a spell of a good weather so could return to this spot again and again.
From previous visits I knew where the sun will be, so I prepared and waited...it did pay off...
There are lots of converging lines, I did not try to correct it in the PC. I used focal lenght of just 18mm and the lens was only 20cm above the ground, so I knew it would happen. In a composition like this, I do not think it ruins the shot.
1/8 sec @ F22 @ ISO100.

A very effective shot, Juraj--nice planning to catch the wonderful bath of golden light. It's a really nice composition with the low POV, taking full advantage of the texture of the cobblestones. I guess the sun rays are a consequence of using f22; you could reduce them with a larger aperture but I think it's nice as it is. Regards, Ken.

Hi Juraj,
That's a very good one! you did well to wait to get that wonderful warm light.
The angle is excellent with great lines of perspectives leading to the golden light (which enhance very nicely the building colors). Great atmosphere overall...you gave me the will to be there and enjoy sun rays in that peacefull street.
BRAVO!

Ahoj Juraj
Excellent capture, I like low POV, cobblestone street and old architecture but the greatest thing here, and center of attention, are those sun rays which look fantastic. Great photo!
Have a pleasant evening

Hello Juraj!
Splendid composition with the finest architecture and this real Star: the Sun!
The low pov, sharpness and colors played also an important role in the design of this fantastic picture!
TFS - Congratulations!

Nice catch dude! Finally a photo from this street on this church that does not use the "standard" POV. Pretty colors and nice sunlit texture of the cobblestones. Bit too sharpened for my taste.
CU tmr ;-)
