Photographer’s Note

Waterlily aka Vicoria regia in a pool in the spa city of Piestany. The huge leaves of this waterlily look as they could hold even an adult person. Well, they wouldn´t be they can hold a child.

There are 3 or 4 pools with waterlilies, many freshwater turtles, myriads of small black fish and a few red japanese carps.
It´s an attraction for kids and grown-ups too.

The Piestany spa is well known around the world. It´s hot springs and hot sulphuric muds are used for treating kinetic organs and joints diseases. When you visit Piestany, the number of Arabic visitors and patients makes you feel you visit a different continent.

Very nice angle of the Lily. I like the ragged looking one in the back, and the rotting leaves, I am glad you didn't choose a shot that was "nice" with no rotted leaves!
