Animesh,
Excellent shot! I love the effect of the b&w. Really nice composition, I like how you offset the couple and framed it in by the trees at the top.
Thanks for sharing,
Katie

Excellent, as always. Great perspective, details amd tonal range. I particularly like the moment of quiet intimacy.

Deceptively simple, beautifully composed and framed shot, Animesh. Very "classy" and "classic".
LOve it!

what has surprised me here is the loneliness... this couple and you i think and u captured them... did not they say anything ??? Whatever ... the effect is very good.. they are not going to somewhere.. they just met here.. i suppose ( cos the legs are in opposite direction.. )..looks like they are not bothered about anything in the world, in this lonely planet they are the only two !!!
I forget you are the THIRD EYE !!

Animesh, I have so many times postponed wwriting critiques to your Slovakian pictures, that I can not do it anymore. Pity that I overcomed my meditative laziness right at the picture, which is so bueautifully simple that there is nothing to express verbally, it is just for looking at and enjoying. Even what was said up to now was too much. Maybe it is deceptive simplicity (Francis), but its deceit is successful and we are glad to be deceived.
Apologise for a technical remark, I know it is inappropriate in this context, but I do mind it: scanned version seems to be oversharpened. With such a motive and rainy weather it would be better with some blur than with this visibly artificial sparkling sharpness, IMHO.
But not to forget to thank you very much for another amazing picture from Slovakia. I have to go back through the whole series and stop for a note at most remarkable ones...

A beautiful East European slice of life, Animesh... here it is so hard to find such lovely couples! Budapest also is full of Romantics...
Your shot is gorgeous, the quality of it is superb, the b/w, the atmosphere you have captured.
Very evocative.

Hi Animesh,
A photo that could easily become a cover for a magazine. or even used in an ad, with some sentence that goes with it.
You are a real artist of the Black and White, and you know how to distillate the extraordinary out of the ordinary.
Take care - Izzet

Hi Animesh, another one of your great shots, with a clear style.
It remembers me this one from another great Master (THE Master) http://www.magnumphotos.com/c/htm/CDocZ_MAG.aspx?Stat=DocThumb_DocZoom&o=&DT=ALB&E=2TYRYD1DSQN2&Pass=&Total=131&Pic=14&SubE=2S5RYDWN76X
I find some similarities: the couple, the feelings, the perspective and the same "difficulty" in reading the image (it is from right to left, with the light in the same direction).
But I think that it's the latter the thing that I love more in this shot.
Bye,
Stefano

Hi Animesh.
Great scene. The photo is really sharp and the b&w contrast very good. The b&w brings out the atmosphere of the rainy day. The couple brings more feeling to the photo.
Very good job.
Greetings,
Sven
