Photographer’s Note
Crocus is a genus of perennial flowering plants, native to a large area from coastal and subalpine areas of central and southern Europe (including the islands of the Aegean), North Africa and the Middle East, across Central Asia to western China.
Their color varies enormously, although lilac, mauve, yellow and white are predominant.
The name of the genus is derived from the Greek krokos (κρόκος), which—like the Hebrew karkōm, Aramaic kurkama, Persian and Arabic kurkum—means saffron or saffron yellow.

Hello Peter,
I like this view brought in natural colours because it well renders the crocus flowers in a good composition together with the dried grass, and because at the same time it offers a wider view on the environment in which the flower grows.
Well done.
regards,
Paul

Great! Great and beautiful. The impression of depth here is amazing and these little flowers are the real main characters in the picture. A photo with a wonderful spring atmosphere ...

Hello Peter. Indeed a picture for eye and soul. The landscape is fantastic. The skillful composition with the sharpness on the flower in the foreground is excellent. My acknowledgment for this beautiful photo. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Nadhera, uzasne, super!
Mozno by sa zislo mat ostre aj pozadie, ale to by si pri beznom objektive musel asi riesit focus stackingom. Ale mozno by to stalo zato.
V kazdom pripade, tento obrazok sa mi velmi paci, gratulujem.

Hey Peter,
I've gone through a quick browse in your gallery and you do 'feel' your photography. You have an 'eye' of variety that captures any that pleases you.
Here you did a stunning capture using a good aperture value of f/16 enough to show sharp details from foreground and a slight 'blur' enough to see the background. Though a shallow depth of field can make you feel part of the picture less of the background details but can be quite subjective.
Best Regards ;)

Peter,
These native flowers are beautiful as your photo, and create a great natural carpet.
