Photographer’s Note
Here you can see the end of Mengusovka valley in High Tatras.
The Mengusovska Valley is 8 km long branched valley, very attractive for tourists. Its waters create a small river Poprad. Shorter hikes start at the Štrbské Mountain-lake (the red marked tourist path) or at the station (Popradské Pleso) of the Tatras mountain railways , where the blue marked path continues up to the Popradské pleso (Popradské Mountain-lake). There you will find a chalet offering board and lodging and a Symbolic Cemetery devoted to those (mostly professional) who died in the High Tatras mountains.
