Photographer’s Note

Scandinavian Slovakia, does it sound controversal?

Look at the photo, don't you think this evangelic church interior has a truely Scandinavian accent:

* whitewashed walls,
* natural materials,
* simply ergonomic functional furniture,
* clear forms.

Another parallel thing between Slovakia and Scandinavia: lutheran/evangelic is very important religion traditionally, because this church has and had a huge contribution preserving authentic culture of these lands.

This view can be seen by the chaplain, but it is taken in the morning, so the church is empty. I tried to find a special point of view and to emphasize the fine balance of horizontal and vertical lines.
I hope you like it.
