Photographer’s Note
The Slovakian city of Poprad is, in my humble opinion, far from being an attractive city. The numerous factories, districts of tower blocks, architectural chaos, all this makes it an overwhelming city where it's hard to find a cosy corner. However, there is one exception, an oasis of old architecture in the concrete paradise. It is Spiska Sobota, whose name derives from the fair held there every Saturday in the Middle Ages. In the picture you've got the high street lined with splendid buildings.

The foreground is amazingly sharp considering you used F2.8 but well done. This is a nice composition and warm lighting.

Kris,
In surfing your gallery I saw that many of your shot have big scores and some go nearly uncritiqued. With that thought in mind I thought I would comment on this one since it has good bones. I like the exposure, the colors seem right for a night shot but I think that if the f-stop were larger (and the shutter durataion increased accordingly) there would be better sharpness. Even with that the one thing that I think really needs changing is the back tilt of the buildings.
I hope you find this helpful, I wish more of the comments here on TE were honestly critical rather than affirmations of a good shot. Overall the shot is appealing and I really like the monochromatic fg detail.
Greg
