Spis is one of the most attractive regions of Slovakia. There are beautiful national parks-The High Tatras in the northwest, Pieniny at the Slovak-Polish border, the Slovak Paradise (Slovensky raj) in the southwest, as well as the UNESCO world's cultural and natural heritage sites-Spis Castle, Spisske Podhradie, Church of the Holy Spirit in Zehra, Spisska Kapitula and Stara Lubovna Castle.
