Slanicky Island - a small island on Lake Orava Slovakia.
The island was formed in 1954 after the flooding of the water tank on the firewall, Orava. It is a summit of the hill, belonging to the village earlier Slanica, flooded waters of the lake. It rises to the church p.w. Exaltation of the Holy Cross, built from 1766 to 1769.

Slanicky ostrov - niewielka wyspa na Jeziorze Orawskim w Slowacji.
Wyspa powstala w 1954 r. po zalaniu woda zbiornika zaporowego na Orawie. Stanowi ona szczyt wzniesienia, nalezacego wczesniej do wsi Slanica, zalanej wodami jeziora. Wznosi siê na niej kosciol p.w. Podwyzszenia Swietego Krzyza, zbudowany w latach 1766 - 1769.
