...my first try... Photo

Photographer’s Note

...a new stage of my photographic life has begun! I have finally bought a new camera, so I can start to make real photos ;-) and NOW please critise and teach me...

...yesterday, we went out only in the late afternoon to try my camera (I must have looked really strange, looking for long time at each button ;-) anyway, I am familiarizing myself with it, and this is the result of my first try...let me know what you think...I am so willing to learn...

...place: only 20 minutes from my hometown, Zilina, near Povazska Bystrica town, is a protected nature reserve formed by two rocky gorges - Maninska and Kostolecka tiesnava...this is seen from the road...

Hi Ivana. Amazing mountain landscape. Superb sky enhanced by the filter. The first attempt is quite successful.
But remember photographer takes photos, not the camera.

Hello Ivana,

We both know it are those feather clouds high in the sky which make the image very attractive. I love such skies and in combination with the green below it works evry good on this imporessive mountain view...

You really deserve it and I am glad in advance because of all the wonderful shots you will be able to deliver with these new possibilities.
This one is a good start and one can already appreciate that you managed here a hard light and made good usage of your polarizer filter. May not be the best hour for the quality of light and orientation here?

the clouds seems to be a cascade of water on the mountains, the sky is really amazing, all the composition is beautiful and full of light.

Hi, Ivana. Congratulations on your new purchase. I think you will enjoy using it. You've created a nice composition here with a good contrast between the sky and the grey rocks. They form a nice ascending line crossing the image diagonally. Maybe something or someone in the foreground would have helped us have an idea of the scale.

It seems that everything is OK! This first try is very successful! Colors and contrasts are excellent. I also like the clouds which take the shape of mountains.

gratulujem k novemu fotaciku. Farby a tie zvlastne mracky su velmi pekne (nojo, polarizacik :-)), ale akosi je to mimo tvojho stylu a ta kompozicia mi moc nesedi.
