Photographer’s Note

Poprad in autumn colours in Oct 1994. Poprad is little village in the High Trata of Slovakia.

A little bit hidden right between the trees you could see our rental holiday home where we were on vacation with our children. No electricity!!! We had to do firewood for heating a really old oven.

Addtional remark regarding the comments:
Poprad has more than 100.000 inhabitants. So it's not a little village. I think on the pic a suburb of Poprad is shown.

Second addtional remark (thanks to Michal (nex) to post this information):
Poprad is the name of the river the flows under the foothills of the High Tatras, and the city is named after it. Actualy you have been probably in the cottage that was called Poprad, which is nothing surprising, because many restaurants and and hotels are named after it. This is probably Zdiar (about 30kms from the Poprad city) which is one the most beautiful villages under Tatras
