Honeymen - I deliberately used the plural form of the word. I think all Slovak people have honey in their hearts. Like this man selling honey liquer.

kalendareze do Korei jeszcze nie doszly ale rodzina w Polsce odebrala juz paczke i bardzo sie podobaja. Jutro moze dostane, bo po swietach i poczta bedzie znowu dzialac.:)

Swietny portret. To sa twoje buty Jurku, zdecydowanie. Przyjemny wyraz na twarzy modela, chyba od tego trunku:) Sam lubie miod pitny, rycerski trunek w koncu to jest:).

Wszystkiegi najlepszego Jurku, i milej zabawy z fotografia zycze.

It's quite a nice portrait, with the light shining on half his face...
with the background contributing to the story...
with the blurred hand giving it movement and helping to break the 'sense of pose' we sometimes get in portraits. Great!

The light on his face and the warm tones of the wooden shelves behind, also seem reminiscent of the colour of honey. Together with his pose and expression, this has created a warm, friendly mood.
I hope the honey liqueur went down well last night!

Jestem pod wrazeniem swiatla tutaj. Przeanalizowalem dane z techno notki, i stwierdzilem, ze muszę pomyslec o jasniejszym obiektywie w 2007 - swoim chyba bym nie dal rady w tych warunkach.
A co do zdjęcia - kolejny udany portret do kolekcji.

Dear friend, if we divided each post of you for a single person that person would only find out that the subject of your photo is a good soul. But I am here for enough time to know that the goodness is in your heart rather than in every single person soul. Glad to see you back with this charming smiling faces of this elderly persons you are a masteron the way of getting them.
He seems so pure, and gentle while he's bagging this liquor bottle.
The background with the successive bottles creates a nice background.

Hi Kerzy,

Pleasant and expressive portrait of this gentleman, from which emanate complicity and simplicity. The light creates great atmosphere, the kind you’ve got when visiting these artisanal shops, warm and unfancy.

The out of focus backround is well balanced, so we can still see his products, while isolating your subject. The hat is also a great feature and provides a lot of character to the scene.
