Hi TE friends

There was wind and the small weekend house didn't stabilized. I did get it with good definition. Anyway i Like the colours and rainbow

I hope you like it !

Orava is situated in the northern part of Žilina’s region and covers 1 660 km2. It borders on Poland. The main population is in the valleys of the river Orava and some smaller streams around the mountains: Beskydská vrchovina, Chočské vrchy, Malá a Veľká Fatra, Oravská Magura and Oravské Beskydy, Polhorská vrchovina, Skorušina a Západné Tatry – Roháče with highest peak Baníkov – 2,178 m a.s.l.

The travel and tourism concentrates not only in the towns but also in some very important natural resorts – Roháče, Oravice and Orava Dam.
These areas attract tourists both in the winter and the summer season with their ideal conditions for recreation, rural tourism and sports such as trekking, mountainbike riding, downhill and cross-country skiing, as well as water sports like windsurfing, yachting and fishing at ORAVA DAM LAKE.
The area of Západné Tatry – Roháče is a part of Tatra National Park and Horná Orava territory is protected natural reservation. The folk festivals and other cultural and sport events with international participation contribute to the development of travel and tourism in this region. The picturesque region of Orava is very attractive for every visitor, history and architecture lovers, nature and sports lovers as well as the people who are interested in the traditional folk festivals.

I visited this place too. It is very calm place among in food of Babia Góra.
Fine foto with amazing rainbow.

Hi Aries, my -almost- neighbour today !
Wonderfull scene, very well captured. Good chosen pow and many nice details. And of course the rainbow is a great bonus to this capture.
The green cabin on the boot seems to be a segment of an airplane.

Hi, Aires,
I have been in Central Slovakia, but I nevr seen this lake.Fine shot with the rainbow.
But I'd like to crop the shadows low part and this tree. It will more compact and colourful composition, IMHO.

Bonjour Aires,
la capture d'un arc en ciel surtotu double et qui plus est dans un pareil ciel est toujours gage d'esthétique. Capturé dans un bel environnement marin, je déplore toutefois la présence d'un bruit assez important dans le gris du ciel.

Bonito cenário, com direito a um duplo arco-íris sobre o lago. Esta pequena e colorida casa flutuante é um plus nesta linda composição, entre luz e sombra, chuva e sol.

A very well balanced composition wit the tree well located in the FG right and the different boats. The desicive moment well collected with the rainbow. I like too the good managment of light which give beautiful contrast between light and shade.

Excelente aproveitamento de um pedaço de sol, tanto por ti como pela natureza.
A nota é interessante, mas com uma série de topónimos de difícil leitura ;-)
Faz-me lembrar uma anedota que vi sobre os topónimos polacos:
Noticiário. Houve um terramoto na cidade polaca de Rzyczsziwskowcztsz. Desconhece-se o nome da cidade antes do terramoto.

Realmente é pena a definição do fundo não ser melhor, porque, laém do arco-íris, gosto do mancha de cor do barco-casa em forma de lata de salsichas gigante, que parece ficar ainda com mais destaque por causa do 1º plano estar à sombra.

complimenti sinceri, questa foto è davvero una meraviglia, sei riuscito a racchiudere in un piccolo contenitore tanti elementi bellie suggestivi, in primis l'arcobaleno.

Um barco muito interessante e bonito bem na frente da foto mostrando cores fortes e definidas. Ao fundo o arco-íris disputa a beleza com a silhueta e barquinhos navegando. Tudo lindo e perfeito. Adorei! Parabéns, abraço

I missed this one. The rainbow provides a superb & colourful focal point. Good sharpness, although a slight ccw rotation might help. The fg shelter pier & bg boats add interest. Tfs!

Although, you are not completely satisfied with your photo, I think, it is pleasant to look at!
colorful little 'house-boat' (did you spend the week-end in it?) with the good capture of the rainbow...luminosity and contrast are fine too!

The light and the contrasts are fantastic.

The boathouse with it's green colour is certainly an eye catcher. But the rainbow has to be the icicng on the cake! The silhouette of the tree also plays an important part in the compo. here
