Photographer’s Note
This is an interesting bookstore in the center of Sremski Karlovci town. It's called Gutenberg. More interesting is the word used for bookstore - "knjižarnica" while the usual term used in Serbian is "knjižara".
The house was built in 1772 according to inscription on the ductile iron doors. Floor plan is “L” shaped and the frontispiece’s segments between windows are decorated with shallow plastic decoration. In this house lived and died Vladimir Nikolić who was an architect for Georgije Branković. Later it was a home for Kosta Petrović, respectable professor and historian.

Hi Bogdan,
beautiful winter light and colors! As for "knjižarnica", I know that in Serbian it's knjižara, but in bulgarian we say книжарница too. Maybe it's because of russian influence...

Zdravo Bogdane,
Odlicna fotografija.
Pozdrav!
Mirko
