Nice autumn day have change his face in two hours and show us how empty winter feeling cane bee sometime.
The joy of winter is still there but i have choise me for sepia and a bit pesimistic view!!!!

Hello Braca, You photo work here is excellent to show that pessimistic mood that winter sometimes brings & you were feeling, the sepia toning works well in this scene. It looks & feels cold and miserable.

hoffe es Euch gut, auch hier in DE/GER soll heute der erste Schnee bis in die Tiefe fallen, wird aber wohl nur in Bayern so sein..
schöne Aufnahme und die Umwandlung in Sepia gefällt mir auch sehr gut..

Ja, trostloser und grauer kann man den Winter kaum zeigen - und bald wird es vielerorts wieder so aussehen. Interessant, wie der Dunst hier zum Hintergrund hin immer mehr verschluckt ...
Aber Krokusse und Tulpen sind schon gepflanzt!!! ;-)

Hello Bratislav,

A very simple but very efficience and very nice composition. Good balance with the tree well located in the image and greta depht. The very good PP work give a particulary athmospeher to the image.

durch die Sepiatonung ist das Bild sehr melancholisch. Aber das passt ganz gut zum Wetterumschwung vom Hrbst in den Winter. Gefällt mir ausgezeichnet.

Hi Bracasha!
You know, I have come to like your trees! You must have photographed about all of them in Despotovac! So you get snow in November in your part of the world! Yes, I understand winter gets a bit long in those cases!

So, to cheer you up, I have posted a bright sunny tree for you; it was photographed in November too! But don't you believe November is always like that in our regions. We often get a lot of rain!

Anyway, I think your choice of sepia was very good, so is the composition with the tree on the left and the white fields on the right!

Your sepia tones add a bit of warmth to what I'm sure was one of those flat, cold grey days that come between the brisk, breezy autumn days and the gleaming white days when the snow covers all with a big blanket. Good framing with the lone tree posed against the misty hillside slope.

As uusal, I like the round tree which has became your trademark here on TE, and this winter landcape. But I am not sure about the usefullness of the sepia color, unless the sky was so grey that it was worth masking it.

je reste séduit pas tes paysages isolés, rendorcés par le duotone et apparement je suis loin d'être le seul.

I would gaussian blur the sky to remove the artefacts. Well composed with the lonely tree well positioned on the 1/3 axis. The warm sepia tone adds mood. Tfs!

bei uns ist zwar noch kein Schnee gefallen, aber es war heute auch ein recht trostloser und grauer Sonntag mit immer wieder leichtem Regen. Eben einer dieser Tage wo auch am Mittag die Energiesparlampen brennen. Die Konvertierung zu Sepia unterstreicht deine pessimistische Stimmung, aber auch diesen Winter werden wir überstehen. Ein paar Sonnentage werden uns dabei sicherlich helfen.

Un bouquet de branches qui ressort bien sur le rest e de la composition sépia,toutefois je pense qu'un B&W nature aurait mieux rendu le blanc de la neige.

I thought you already have winter, then I notice this is last year but not so much later!
I suppose you added this sepia effect but in fact it is not much different from a winder day with low light...
