This was taken in a market in Viti, Kosova. I still smile when I look at this photo of the man selling his Potatoes,,,,,,, he looks happy doesn't he?

He's certainly not a wealthy man--in money nor in teeth--but he has a lot of character and a great smile! Even if you have to sit and sell potatoes, life can still be good. Your photo brings out that message loudly and clearly, Michael. All the best to you in Afghanistan--stay safe. Regards, Ken.

hey Micheal
a very charming potrait. the man seems so Happy! i just love the detailing on the man's face, all his wrinkles are visible. moreover, the opening of his mouth and the positioning of the teeth seem like the smiley symbol :)
js felt that the plastic and the potatoes were a bit overexposed.
take care

Hi Mike,
He does look happy and you chose a good time to snap him.
The sepia tone gives a nice touch to the composition.

Hi Michael,
I like the retro touch (colour filter) to this very humane portrait. All smiles!

Hello Michael!
Very nice portrait! I like the nice mood here, where the big smile makes me happy. The potatoes are also nice in the composition. I like the colour pp. Well done!
