A tourist at cafe. Photo

Photographer’s Note

Mmm..excellent espresso at this cafe, perfect crema, consistency, temperature, exactly as I want it ! ..and only 50 cents..at home they are 2 Euros ! "turist kosova" on the window, but i haven`t seen any tourists here. I wonder why ? maybe it`s the wrong time of the year, or maybe the wrong part of the town..
And the man who cleans the street, who is he, have he noticed me, is he thinking: I wonder who that guy is with the camera, he looks like a foreigner. He`s probably a tourist.

Hej Boa,
Did you consider whether the explanation was that you were in the wrong part of the world? ;-)
This picture shows rather well the irony of trying to attract tourists to a place where very few want to go. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking, or maybe that adding the word "turist" makes them feel that they are part of the great big world.
There's a slightly sad, but still hopeful atmosphere here.

Indeed we see also no tourists on these picture, the one man, I see not these man as tourist.
A good advertisemant behind the glass of the window.
Excellent perspective and very well colours.

Hi Boa,

A really great picture. This is the way it looked like all over Eastern Europe not a long time ago. However, I notice that the winds of change are blowing here as well. You have an abundant supply of various drinks here and I am sure you could have a good strong cup of coffee as well, even if it is not an expresso. TFS and have a nice evening!

Hej Boa,
this is a very well observed and captured-at-the right-time photo :)
There is a dark blurred disturbing object on the left, but I guess it was impossible to avoid when taking the shot... So the main thing that matters is clearly conveyed in the photo. A bit ironic... maybe? a bit sad?.. I've never been there and will hardly ever go. So I rely on what the photo tells us!
(the crop at the top looks a bit too tight, maybe?...)
