Photographer’s Note
She has just finished her faculty and she's glad it's finally over with exams, what she doesn't know is that the hardest part looking for the job is just coming.
Facts:
Serbia has population about 8 million people (without Kosovo)
unemployed 1 million (able to work)
in pension 1,3 million
every seventh young person is working
6,2 have real jobs others work temporarly
50% of young people don't have jobs
average waiting for the job lasts 2 to 10 years
each year 30.000 with degrees leave country and imigrate
from 1991 till now 405.000 young people and experts has left
Recent studies have show that Serbia is "old" country with more old than young people, and each year the schools are closing because in some areas there is not enough children especially in villages.
Now something nice, most foreighners who visit Serbia say they've never seen so many beautiful girls in one place, see here yourself :D
and there are real nature beauties too,and everything is cheaper than in EU.

Hi Tanya. I can identify with your comments here. It seems in every country there are many challanges to overcome. Over here the cost of living is too high to survive and the wages too low. If you want a decent job you need an education and that is too expensive for the average person.
The roses in the background serve as a wonderful background for this photo. Excellent work indeed capturing her character. I trust she manages to find a good job and has a great future!

Hi Tanja
Nice portrait of this beautiful girl. Interesting to see the brain drain in Serbia too. I would love to visit sometime. Have a good day.

Cao Tanja,
Podsecanje na surovu realnost slikom ove prelepe devojke. A svi su u kampanji stavili akcenat na mlade, a niko o njima ne brine. Videcemo koliko ce mladih izaci danas na izbore.
U svakom slucaju, odlican nacin promovisanja svog stava.
Pozdrav!
Mirko

to make serbia a better country is not need the woman's beauty but the inteligence of democratic politicians not radical/nationalistic ones that gained the election right now in febbruary 2007.
they will carry serbia to lose also this little credibily that is remained, the world will ask if this country wll be yet recoverable? or it will be always a russian satelite?
before having beautifull womans, serbia must understand that all this country have to do is, to leave in peace kosovo and undestand that has not hopes to assimilate the martire people of kosovo. she didn't know how to do this from 1912 till today.
serbia must learn how to do a peacefull life with other countries in balkan. only then serbia mus have a beutifull future, and beatiful future does mean, work for the country and beautifull people and future for all the rest of balkans.
right now in this moments the serbian politicians doesn't seem to walk for the right way but exacly the opposite side.... let's hope for those beautifull serbian people and their future.
You have lost Slovenia,Kroacia,Bosnia,Kosovo, don't lost your country, Serbia now, Europe & U.S.A are giving you the last chance to live like a indipendent country not like a satellite russian country like russian hopes.....

Hi Tanja, isn't it a pity when politicians get involved. We should learn to NEVER give power to anyone who craves it....Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Bush, Thatcher, Blair....the list is endless.
Your photo is an excellent rendition of a very beautiful girl. Beauty is two things, however. Firstly, it is only skin deep. a facade. Secondly, it is "in the eye of the beholder". This girl is beautiful to me - but might not be to other people, cultures.
Diversity is great - it's what keeps the world going round.
Great photo, lovely people - lets hope for a better future than the past.
Paul.

I looked at this photograph several times, Tanja, before deciding that I liked it. The coat is over-exposed, but it seems to glow, which imparts an interesting feel to this image. The rest of the exposure is good and I love the background that you have chosen for your student model. Cheers . . . David
