Misirke potici iz zapadne Afrike, tezine su do 2. kg, nose sitna jaja koja kriju u zbunje.
Kod nas se cuvaju u dvoriste gde se druze sa kokoskama.
Veruje se da jedu zmije i dobri su cuvari, svojim jakim glasom javljaju dolazak stranca.
Vrlo su ukusne za jelo.

Being a vegetarian and never taste any animal, I can't comment much about the taste. But I like the atmosphere. They look so charming running near the dried branches. I like the sharpness and light.
