Photographer’s Note

Vinci, le village autochtone sur le Danube, en face de la Roumanie. Le refuge de nombreux Belgradois pour les weekends. Les hommes intelligents du pays font la peche et s'amusent dans les tavernes. Les fammes font face aux tentations d'existence gardant le sourire tout le temps.

Vinci, dunavsko selo naspram Rumunije. Inače vikendaško pribežište Beograđana, Požarevljana, Vojvođana i drugih. Snalažljivi muškarci tamo love ribu i daju sebi odušku u kafani. Žene čitavog života suočavaju se sa izazovima opstanka i lako se osmehnu svakom predahu.

encore une très belle scène de vie bien colorée et mise en valeur.

You have a way of loading your pictures with a very sympathetic and, in this case, "cosy" atmosphere. The old ladies seem to enjoy a very pleasant chat in their nice surroundings. There are also lots of interesting details to watch.

Ces braves femmes semblent vendre leur production de légumes. Elles me rappellent les femmes du village de mon enfance. L'image est non seulement belle, mais aussi très intéressante. J'espère que cinq ans aprés, elles continuent de vendre et de papoter. Bravo.

An image that it remembers to us our origins, even if today we have everything.
Excellent quality of the photo and the digitalization, considering that the Minolta X700 was not digital!

Hello Dear Branko,

I had no idea that a Vinci existed in Serbia, as it does Tuscany. WEll composed, colorful shot. Selling a few vegetables on weekends is not an easy way to eke out a living.

Hi Branco, nice rural scene from the market. Earlier the women from villages in Poland also covered heads with such headscarves, i do npot know how it is now. Funny note.

J"admire à chaque fois les compositions de tes scènes de vie qui transcrivent si bien l'atmosphère d'un pays et de ses habitants.Il y a tant de choses à découvrir dans tes images qu'on peut les voir et revoir à loisir.Belles couleurs et très bonne gestion de la lumière. La complicité que tu sembles avoir avec tes modèles est remarquable.

Bonjour Branko,

Une scène plus villageoise cette fois mais aussi bien captée et aussi vivante que tes scènes de Belgrade. J'aime la façon dont tu rends bien l'attitude paisible de ces ttrois femmes. de nombreux détails et notamment ces légumes bien rangés qui apportent des touches de couleur. Très bien fait encore une fois.

Bonjour Branko.
Une photo, encore une, qui fait plaisir à voir. J'aime la simplicité de ces femmes qui font la causette tout en vendant le produit de leurs jardins. C'est un tableau qui rejoint ceux des peintres du petit peuple comme les frères Le Nain.
