Metal stove on wood .
I was at the fair in Cupriji , my attention was drawn metal stove that uses wood as energy.
The cooker is made of metal , is good for cooking and frying food , and the oven is where the baked food .
It is thought that the food is prepared on wood stoves , tastier and healthier .
Many people in their cottages have a wood stove .

This type of stoves can we not buy here in Belgium.
But I see two types these very interesting through the extra hot system above the stove.
Sharpness and clarity are excellent made.
Very well done, TFS.

you have displyed a fine picture of something that is totally new to me. Wood, of course, is used in India as well for cooking fire but chiefly by the rural people. I like the way you have filled the frame with the different elements. The sharpness and colours are great as always. Did you buy a stove :)?
thanks for sharing and have a nice evening.

Excellent infor shot, it is filled with a wealth of colourful things and good clarity. I think they're not going to set the world alight! but the stoves are record of a pleasant morning at the fair. Only the horses are missing there or it could have been a scene from the early 19th century. I can almost smell the stoves from here and fully agreed that cooked food using wood-burning stove taste and smell better! A life's dream, but the reality sank in...
Lovely infor shot and tx for sharing. Congrats

This is an original way of selling stoves, but this street stall has given you a very good photo with strong colours, interesting features and a fine black diagonal. In tough times people have to be inventive to make a living.

You're capturing well this scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see metal stoves in front of the car. I don't see this type of stove in Japan, however it looks like economically and convienient using at house, and It is environment-friendly.

Magnificent picture of daily life with this peddler stoves, which I moved into the closed box we see, many years ago had not seen this type of cuisines, in my country were very popular, but many years ago ... .. now fuel wood is very expensive and hard to find.
A superb light management, sharpness is perfect.
Have a good day.

I remember these stoves. In Turkish, they were called "kuzine" and we had one when we lived in Lüleburgaz, when I was 5-6 years old. Mom cooked many a börek and even cakes in it. Thanks for bringing back memories.

Hi Pavle,As you know, I always like your photos because your country and mine have many similar things. These stoves do not sell more from us, everyone goes to methane now.. eehehe .. it reminds me of my childhood , my grandmother had a very large one covered in ceramic and winter was the point where the whole family gathered for warm up.Beautiful post .... as usual!Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Une note intéressante comme la présentation de ces poêles qui doivent chauffer très fort, en Autriche dans le chalet il y avait un genre comme ceux ci, a bois, ça chauffe très fort mais le matin il faut attendre dans le froid!!!

Life seems to be taking a fll circle...initially we had wood, then coal, then electricty, then gas for cooking food...then came microwave and now induction...its back to wood again! Nice daily life picture which makes us think about the so called 'progress' we are making & money we are spending, only to realise, what we used to do before was the best!

such wood stoves I still know from my childhood. My grandparents used a very similar stove.
Today and here in Sweden they are often found in old farmhouses, hunting cabins and cottages. Very practical and actually also important, because if the electricity supply fails on cold winter days - as sometimes happens - you can heat up with the stove.
For this reason, I have a fireplace made of metal. It crackles and it smells good when you burn wood in it, makes a cozy atmosphere. I call it the heart of my cabin.
A beautiful, clear and above all, an interesting picture.
All the best from Sweden
