Panorama grada ...

Cuprija je grad na dve reke, Velika Morava i Ravanica.
Nalazi se na nekada strateski vaznom rimskom putu koji je spajao Konstantinopolj sa Rimom, pa je tamo podignut garnizon, a kasnije je grad poznat pod nazivom -Horreum Margi- tj. zitnica Morave. U srednjem veku se nazivao Ravno, a ime je dobio najverovatnije po dolasku Slovena na Balkansko poluostrvo. U 15. veku su ga osvojili Turci, koji su napravili most na Velikoj Moravi, po kome je i grad dobio novo ime.

Cuprija the city on two rivers, Velika Morava and Ravanica.
Located at once strategically important Roman road which connected Rome with Constantinople, and there built a garrison, and later the city known as the -Horreum Magri ,, that. granary Morava. In the Middle Ages it was called Straight, and was named most likely by the arrival of the Slavs. In the 15th century it was conquered by the Turks, who made bridge of the Velika Morava river, by which the city got its new name.
