Pravoslavna Crkva u Cupriji -II.

Pravoslavna Crkva Sveti DJordje.
Pravoslavna Crkva u Cupriji podignuta je 1834. godine, po naredjenju tadasnjeg vladara Srbije, kneza Milosa Obrenovica .
Knez Miloš Obrenović (18. mart 1780 — 26. septembar 1860) je bio knez Srbije od 1815. do 1839. i od 1858. do 1860. Učestvovao je u Prvom srpskom ustanku, i predvodio srpske ustanike u Drugom srpskom ustanku.
Za vreme njegove vladavine, Srbija je postala autonomna kneževina u okviru Osmanskog carstva.
Crkva je uradjena od klesanog kamena i nepecene cigle.
Ikonostas je uradjen od drveta i datira iz perioda osvecenja Crkve kad je zavrsena.
Iznad ornamenta ulaznih vrata nalazi se ikona Svetog DJordja.
Crkva je 2003. godine, restaurirana, uradjen je novi krov i fasada.

The Orthodox Church of St. George.
Orthodox Church in Cupriji built in 1834. year, by order of the then ruler of Serbia, Prince Milos Obrenovic.
Prince Milos Obrenovic (March 18, 1780 - September 26, 1860) was a prince of Serbia since 1815. to 1839. and since 1858. to 1860. He participated in the First Serbian Uprising, the Serbian rebels headed by the Second Serbian Uprising.
During his rule, Serbia became an autonomous principality within the Ottoman Empire.
The church was made of carved stone and unbaked bricks.
The iconostasis is made of wood and dating the consecration of the church when completed.
Above the front door ornament is an icon of St. George.
Church in 2003. and restored, made a new roof and facade.

Nice shown this angel on the church I already know from your photos, Pavle.
Sharpness and contrast is fine - but, alas, there is a tremendous backlight influenced the whole, and must had been avoided.
Try on a different hour of a day, dear friend.

Vrlo lijep hvatanje ove prekrasne crkve, volim svoje dizajne sa vertikalnim prugama kroz zidanje, prilično neobično.
Put vodi vrlo lijepo u okvir, previše.

A balanced framing with the main interest provides strong visual elements that enhances the prominence within this shot. Allthough been built in 1834 the church has quite modern architecture and design.

The church and tower are two building with a narrow path between both.
Absolutely a very good picture with these church as subject.

Hello Paja,
the architecture of this church and the way the main building is separated by the bell tower are very interesting. Your composition is effective and has superb depth with the large foreground and the path leading to the church from the bottom right corner of the frame. Shooting from this point of view, almost against the light, was a bold decision. Except for a little yellow spot on the bell tower you managed the light very well and captured very good colours and intriguing shadows. The wintry atmosphere has been captured superbly too. A very interesting architecture of this church, the bright stripes are really special. The little road road leads nicely up to rhe buildings and provide a good diagonal. A true feeling of springtime here!

An interesting modern design of church, I have never seen similar Othodox Cross, we have got another cross. Anyway, good presentation of the church in Cuprija.

Hello Pavle,

You're capturing well this place by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the Orthodox Church being made by carved stone and unbaked bricks as you note. It looks like an unique design with the red stripe line in a yellow outer wall. The whole is harmonized well by this architecture, the pavement and the green lawn.

A nice little church well restored is shown in your shot. You selected a more difficult POV with sunlight from the left side, but you managed it very well and used the shadows to add more atmosphere to your shot. Well done
