Photographer's Note

Vinča is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, located on the confluence of the Bolečica river into the Danube, on the Danube's right bank.
Vinča-Belo Brdo, an important archaeological site that gives its name to the Neolithic culture, is located in the village. The importance of Vinča locality lies in the fact that here are found some well kept archaeological remains of Neolithic village, one of the first urban settlements in Europe dating around 5,000 BC.
