Photographer's Note

Since nearly thirty years we are traveling between the Belgium and the Balkans.
If there is a road that we know well, it's this one which is traced in Serbia from Batrovci to Dimitrovgrad.
From Nis to Dimitrovgrad, the road is the E80, don't be fooled, it's just a two way road on which passes all traffic from Europe to the Balkans and the Middle East.
In parallel, a single railway track follows the same route and is punctuated by small rural stations.
These stations have seen the famous Orient-Express.
This mythical train no longer exists, the stations are still present but for how long?
