Vraćam se na jednu stariju fotografiju koja mi je veoma draga.
Selo Lesje nalazi se 10 km. istocno do Paracina iduci putem M-5 prema Zajecaru. Locirano je na severnoj strani planine Babe na nadmorskoj visini od oko 300 m. Lesje se pominje jos 1380 godine kada je vrseno omedjavanje poseda ( metoha ) manastira Sv. Bogorodice Lesjanske. Ostaci tog manastira su sacuvani do danas. Nalazilo se u nekadasnjoj Petruskoj oblasti koju je Car Dusan 1355 godine darovao svom vlastelinu Vukosavu ,a srednjovekovni grad Petrus nalazio se na vrhu planine Babe izmedju Oble stene i Orlovog kamena. Selo Lesje je dalo dva znamenita svoja mestana u IX veku, Rajka i Milojka Lesjanina. Jedan je bio cuveni oficir Kraljevske vojske ,a drugi veoma ucen covek, diplomata i clan skupstine Kraljevine Jugoslavije.. Sadasnje selo Lesje ima oko 80 domova i oko 300 stanovnika. Mestani se bave poljoprivredom, stocarstvom, ratarstvom ,a mnogi rade u okolnim preduzecima u Paracinu. Nekoliko porodica je i na privremenom radu u inostranstvu. Razvijena je i mala privreda i ima oko 10 zanatskih radnji koje se mahom bave obradom drveta i trgovinom. Obradiva zemlja je od IV do VII klase zbog obronaka planine Babe ,ali isto tako je bogato vodom jer ima bezbroj izvora pitke vode.
