Pogled na grad Jagodina ...

Jagodina je grad i sediste Pomoravskom okrugu.
Za 6 vekova grad je imao tri imena: Jagodna, Jagodina i Svetozarevo. Prvi pisani spomenik datira od 15. jula 1399. godine.
Godine 1946. Jagodina dobija ime Svetozarevo po socijalisti Svetozaru Markovicu.
U vreme Turaka, od seoceta u podnozju Crvenog brega (Rusko groblje), izrasce njihovo naselje, koje ce nazvati Jagodina palanka, pa otuda docnije i ime Jagodina.
Kroz grad protice reka Belica, a pored grada se uzdizu obronci planine Juhor.
Legenda po kojoj su Jagodinci dobili nadimak curani je da je voz udario curku u Jagodini, creva joj ispala u Cupriji, a dzigerica u Paracinu.
