Photographer's Note

Ma note d'avant hier vaut aujourd'hui encore. Le combat pour la croute est omni-presante, mais ici mon nouveau copain du Sud se la Serbie, qui expose a la Foire de Golubac, se trouve fort a faire face aux intemperies. Il m'a meme offert une piece de rechange pour le tracteur. Et je la garde comme un souvenir le plus sympathique.

My note from the day before yesterday has value today yet. The combat for bred is everywhere, but here my new friend from South of Serbia which exposes on the Fair of Golubac, find himself enough strong for all temptations. Even he gave me a piece for tractor. I keep it like the most amazing souvenir.

Moj komentar od prekjuče važi i danas. Borba za koricu hleba na vašarima je nekako ista na svakom koraku. Ovde pokazujem mog novog druga sa juga Srbije koji izlaže na vašaru u Golupcu i koji sebe vidi snažnim da odoleva svim nasrtajima. Čak mi je i poklonio jedan rezervni deo za traktor i to čuvam kao dragu uspomenu.

Hello Branko,
Your photos are usually cheerful and can make people easily laugh, but tears are often not far away when seeing that in Europe today so many people live such tough lives and have to struggle so hard to make a very meagre living. This is as informative as any picture on TE, besides being well composed and colourful. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Branko,
Nicer is to look at the fruits and vegetsbles, or colourful souvenirs on the markets, but the people can need also the parts of the tractor. It must be hard piece of bread selling this stuff but your new friends from South looks optimistic.

Encore une étonnante et extraordinaire photo-document qui en raconte beaucoup sur la vie (la survie?) de cette personne. J'imagine les efforts qu'il doit déployer chaque jour pour sortir et rentrer sa marchandise si lourde...et peut-être pas pour une grosse récolte d'argent!Il méritait bien cette mise en avant de ta part.

Lep pogled na tezgu sa raznom robom, svega ima ...
Dobra ostrina snimka, kontrast, lepe boje.
Dobar tekst i kompozicija, lepo pokazana tezga sa robom i prodavcem.

Bonjour Branko,
Superbe et intéressante photo avec ce bric-à-brac de ferraile. Il n'y a pas de sots métiers pour ceux qui ne sont pas fainéants. Bien vu dans une belle lumière. Bravo.

C'est une photo du quotidien très intéressante!
J'aime beaucoup surtout la compo, la gestion de la lumière (un peu difficile) et les couleurs obtenues!

What a daily scene depicting the cheerful enteprising guy displayng variety of tractor parts in good range of colors which seem dominating the frame with everythinbg thrown in! A nice day to day shot and characterful man. Well colored, clarity and mood.
