Photographer’s Note

Also near Mokra Gora is the ethno village of Drvengrad, a fully constructed new wooden village that was the creation of world-famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica. While shooting one of his movies in the area, Kusturica noticed that although rain in the area lasted for days on end, one hilltop in the distance was nearly always in sunshine. He decided to build a village there that typified 19th century life on the mountains of Zlatibor and Tara. The village has several original and reconstructed cottages, a cinema, library, art gallery and shops.

Hello Zorica
The strong diagonals and the blue door the colour of the sky make this a very pleasing photograph. The colours of the wood are lovely as well.
Interesting note - I did not know about Kusturica building the village.

Wood in all shapes and colors. I love wood and any wooden structures, is the warmest material. Shot is excellent. excellent angle frame composition. A BIG BRAVO neighbour.

fantastic detail of this wood tile roof, good architectonic frame! I like specially the colors, smooth and natural of the wood, and the resistance of that blue door is aesthetically very good. Bravo!
