Photographer’s Note
Left: Basilica del Santo-Parish, the Saint's Basilica
Built in a neoclassic style by the architect Antonio Serra at the beginning in 1836 an finished in 1838 on the pre-existing Roman church. Very interesting to look inside, the nave is embellished with Corinthian columns.
Right: Chiesetta di San Pedro, the church of Saint Peter
Restored in the 19th century on the vestiges of an old building. Inside is an interesting altar - a present by the Roman musican Antonio Tedeschi given in 1689.

Hallo Achim,
Nice combination of two architectural different styles, but that complement each other perfectly.
The setting is elegant and the image has a great quality, a great light and a few beautiful colors.
The alteration of the distortion of vertical lines is perfect, without losing the perspective.
Excellent shot, clean and with a good composition.
Best regards,
Josep

Hi Mr President
Nice Dominant Point of view on the basilica with intersting lights.
I am thinking just for a wider position you or your zoom to have the whole staircases.
Please don't think that I am a troublemaker :)
Cheers

Hello Achim,
A fine piece of ancient architecture, super texture in the walls and great details!
I like the composition as the tight framing gives full emphasis to the structure...

Hello Achim
From your high POV, this looks very different. Like the red tiled roofs & the silhouette of the bells in the bell tower, through that small opening. Completely contrasting architecture styles between the two buildings in fine light. Fine work !

Hi Achim,
The point of view leads our eyes toward the basilica and is showing with precision the details and colors of the architecture of the building. The light is enhancing the colors. The subject is well frame. Have a nice day.
