Photographer's Note

Just as in foggy weather, there are times in our lives when we see less around and ahead. Sometimes it seems that everybody left, no soul around to really share with. But life is constant motion. And ...

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, or fade into anonymity.

Sometimes circumstances dictate that they go in another direction leaving you to wonder; sometimes they walk away, uncaring and unwilling. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand, hoping that enmity hasn’t reared its ugly head.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. Reasons can go against you ... and when they do, all you can do is assess them for what they're worth, monitor subsequent correspondences, make your decision and know it is time to move on.

beautiful moody photo to accompany the contemplative note, the perfect symmetry creates a fascinating abstraction. I like a lot how the trees disappear in the fog, I find it illustrates very well what you write about people simply leaving, and I also agree with the quote you've chosen :)

pai da,cu asa vreme,numa introspectii poti face..:))
fain zice domnu.poti discuta pe tema asta cinci ani ....si o palinca:))
dar,cum Freud remarca -totul este la voia intamplarii,inclusiv intalnirea spermatozoidului cu ovulul:)).ideea e ca ai nevoie de ele,oricum ar fi constient sau incostient.

tati meu zicea mai simplu:ca oamenii din juru tau sunt cei pe care-i meriti.

So you sticked by the original idea with some small adjustments in the final relase, i can live with that because the image has a high potential to make all kind of framings and compositions with it.
The small rippling on the water makes it a bit alive in these cold, foggy and moody picture, but where also the green colourful foliage brings live in to the image with a touch of warm feeling.
I like the balance Dora, for me that's one of the strongest points here, all is well thought and executed with a very nice artistic touch. I know you never bring up a quick snapshot, all is well thought and composed with doubts of course...like all creative and good photographers have.

Well, well, well... while I was into warm darkness, you are currently tredding the path of a bright sadness. I just hope this is only virtual semiotics and not a reality at this moment in your own life experience.

As for your image, I cannot fault the idea, I think the softness is perfect and I have tried different brightness and Pshop values on your image, but your version always stays on top. Hence no need to elaborate furthermore...

Ciao Dora

Hm...sincer nu stiu despre ce sa vorbesc/scriu in aceste cateva cuvinte pe care am sa le tastez....sa scriu despre fotografia de fata,care sincer imi place destul,cauza probabila fiind cateva poze pe care le-am facut intr-o ceata densa,asa cum desigur se observa si aici...sau despre nota,care pe bune ca intr-un fel simt ca e trista(poate doar din punctul meu de vedere),adevarata,reala.
E frumos...nu stiu de ce asemenea imagini(acum depinde si de context) aduc cu ele ceva...chiar nu gasesc cuvantul potrivit :-(...

Chiar ma gandeam azi sa "arunc" o poza pe Trek,cam tot aceeasi tema...ceata...pana la urma,probabil ca pana la urma am s-o postez doar de dragul acestei fotografii....si poate si cu dedicatie ;-).

Hi Dora, friend,

I took all my time staying with your note. The poetic photo is the choice of your sensibility. I had for moment doubt that it is on the Danubian coast. The same atmosphere I could see last days. In the morning the Romanian side is not visible because of the fog. Little by little the light changes and offer the large space for admiration. I have dear house in front of Nuova Moldova and each morning i say: Good morning dear neighbours!

Yes this is a stunner, Dora - delicate, gossamer-like and so subtle. If Luko tried every lever in his PS arsenal and still came up short compared to your version, well, that's the Seal of Quality right there ;o) Say no more...

:) ce frumoasa fotografie... asa cred ca este si viata noastra, ca un copac, creste incet, incet, prinde culoare dar dincolo nu stim ce este, ce ne asteapta.
