[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is his name. He is the oldest son of a gypsy family of five that lives on the streets of Cluj-Napoca . They are from Bistrita, but 'We have better chances of earning some money here' the father said. 'It is a larger city, and people are kinder here' . They told me that they live on only the children's allocations, as they can't have acces to wellfare because their papers have burnt in a fire, and they need a permanent domicile for other id papers to be issued. 'But we live on the street..no wellfare for us.'
I gave Cristi a pretzel, my last one, that he was now chewing like a whole pack of gum. He seemed to be friends with the pretzel, as he looked at it, he holt it tight, but was happy but bite it now and then...but not savagely. More like sweet good night kisses in the middle of the day. Happy, childish, yet mature, as he was proud for his father had trusted him with his/their knobstick/staff. Guarding it safely, guarding his family, leaning on it, they empathising.

Sorry for not writing more or better, I am not in the mood.

Beautiful portrait!I like the smile of the Kid and colours.

He has such kind eyes. I can really tell he is so thankful for the pretzel to fill his tummy. :) The image could be a little larger, nice frame. TFS as always Bogdan

Hi Bogdan, this is so well captured, colors are intense, as well as the boys eyes, like two dark marbles.
As for your note, I will always hope that Romas will once find their place under the sun. Stories about them are always similar to each other, regardless which country they are coming from. Good job on this one. Regards, Djenno

Whatever the reason is, pls brighten up, Bogdan, as life is tough sometimes, but nothing is eternal - no matter good or bad, in our mortal world. You have captured a wonderful childish expression here, with gorgeous light and warm colours. Of course nothing could compare to his look in the eyes though - they hold such a kindness and softness. Very good job!

Very nice! He looks almost like a doll. Nice colors and good composition. For my taste, the frame is a bit heavy that it suffocates your subject.

Light angle is dramatic. You ae very good Bogdan. Your lens...that's a very good one. Is it expensive?
