Rapa Zapezii - The Snowy Ravine
It is an impressive narrow and steep secondary valley on the right side of Morarului (Miller's) Valley in Bucegi. It links the Acele Morarului (Miller's needles) -2300m altitude with Morarului valley floor at about 1600m altitude)
Since Rapa Zapezii is on a north face, it accumulates huge quantities of snow during the winter and the snow lasts here until late into the summer. |
