It came out pretty exciting in my small view. My tries are usually, I don't know, not really something I would show. I really love the emptyness in this one, a lot of stone, with some human presence and this makes the picture for me personally, how they walk out of the grey. Something like that, can't really explain it :) But the b/w for me is perfect and the frame is suiting the photo, very tasteful indeed. Enjoy our afternoon, with lots of color and sunhine! Barbara.

Interesting,
At a first glance, it looks flat, 2D; then looking at the patterns in the brick wall and the paved street we can reconstruct the 3D scene.
The couple that walks out of the scene adds tension... it fits the image.

cata piatra!!!!:p lasand gluma la o parte, e interesanta prelucrarea. Imi plac petele astea de alb peste tot. Cred ca ai mai folosit tipul asta de PP, dar in varianta sepia mai demult, tot intr-o fotografie din Sibiu, intr-o biserica parca. F tare !

hello Isabela,
excellent graphical image. I love the textures and geometry of the bricks and paving. They both contrast and complement each other.The usual rule is to say that the the people should be walking into the frame not out of it but here the rule is meant to be broken. The two people seem to be hurrying out of the frame in order to leave a vacant frame, free except for the bare brickwork.

This is a brilliant BW composition with the 2 lovers seemingly walking at a fast pace. I like the contrast between the bright path and the cobble stone texture around it

Very interesting work in lines and textures. Those two people are essentiel in the overal composition, but for me it are the strong lines what lift this picture to a much higher level. If you call this an experiment then you can be proud on it...it's really good work on the composition and on the b&w conversion...

You've stopped posting, unfortunately. But for me there are plenty of gems in your album to explore. What I like in this picture is your high POV & how the path cuts across the frame. Fine contrast with the bricks and the smooth path. Ideally would have wanted the couple to be on the left of the frame. Experimentation in B&W really looks great here. Fine work!

Hi Isabela, the b & w option really brings out the texture of the thousands of bricks in this one and gives great mood to the shot. I also like your composition, with the couple off-centre and seemingly walking out of the frame. Unusual and interesting, I think it works well.

Nice image with a symbolical message. They're walking through the dark bricks on the light pavement, they're walking through the problems of life together...
I also like the slight tilt, it makes the photo a bit more philosophical and unfettered.

Truly interesting composition. The couple walks hastily, as if trying to overpass these walls as soon as possible. Their tread is firm, their hand grasp - strong. It seem like they will make it, for our's sake at least...
