i wasn't much more fortunate either - went for a short trip last sunday and it was raining and cold ... some snow left besides the road and even more higher on the mountains - just cold and white(ish) grey
not even an opportunity in the freezing rain for a nice photo like yours right here ... nevermind, maybe next time
