The Trekkers Meeting--The Bran Castle Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another scene of the 8-9 March 2008 meeting of the Romanian TE members. As I have already said in my previous posts, one the places that have been visited was Bran Castle, near Brasov.
Near the castle (that you can see in the central part of the photo, on top of the hill), there is a small open air museum park exhibiting traditional Romanian peasant structures (cottages, barns etc.) from across the country.

Hi Andreea,

Good to see that you post a picture now and then even if it is not with the same pace as in the past. Your composition here is excellent. I love the way the buildings in the foreground works as lead in to castle in the background. The inclusion of the path and people is also very good. TFS and have a nice week!

nice this place of the TE meeting with the bran castle to seen a little in the top of the hill in the background..I like the traditional barns that exists in the the shot as the people that add life in the scene.I like the light and the colours.

This place is magical and full of imagination. The fact that there is so much history here is enough to make this image very attractive. Excellent perspective with the castle barely showing its details in the image. The rustic buildings create an interesting rural setting here. Thanks Andreea.

Hello Andreea,
This is a different point of view to the famous castle, giving the viewer only a hint of its existence!
The castle is nicely framed and my eyes go there anyway, and the colours of early spring add to the atmosphere...
