This week I received many critiques that said something like 'dark and pessimistic atmosphere',yes it is.But
I want to say through this pessimistic photo that it's valid only for photos.This is the main cemetery of Alba

Well, it's also part of life, though, not the merriest one. It's a good documentary shot.

Je comprends parfaitement ce que tu veux dire.
Sans être pessimiste, j'ai envie des fois d'élaborer mes photos en clé basse, cela dépend beaucoup de mon état d'esprit mais qui n'a rien à voir avec le pessimisme ou l'optimisme.
Une très belle composition, et un beau traitement de l'image ici.
Merci pour la dédicace même si je ne sais pas si tu sais que je suis aussi polonaise ;).

Hi Horatiu,

so you claim you are no pessimist, a? :) I believe you. You seek for different kind of motives, not always pleasing and shiny, but with message, with thought, with realistic point of view. I like that about you. As I like this BW work you did. The pattern of grave stones and a symbolic stairs as a path to a heaven.

A good composition of this tiered cemetery with tones to match. I think that cemeteries can be quite fascinating places with much of photographic interest. The black and white treatment works very well here and complements the mood.

horatiu, it's not the matter of being pesimistic or upset...it's the style of portraying reality (which is not always charming and sunny...)...
and you have been developing your own style quite effectively, lately... well done...
