Wonderful view from the highest point from Sibiu Lutheran Church. The roofs of this buildings are simply wonderful.
This impressive cathedral was built in 1520 on the place of an old Romanic basilica from the 12th century. With five pointed towers it is one of the most impressive buildings in Sibiu, the tower is nearly 74 m high, the tallest building in Transylvania.

I like a lot the point of view you have chosen. With the wide angle it provides an interesting view showing both the landscape but also the details on how the roof is made.

Amazing viewpoint here, Philip. Were you standing on the roof? The very wide angle lens has presented this scene in a spectacular manner, and the lovely rich colours of the houses and roofs are very well rendered. The sharpness allows us to look into the square and view the people and vehicles there. Great shot.
