The new technologies, the Internet, etc.?
This isn't the first time that writing will have been led astray by new or utilitarian practices...What is urgent now is to reconcile our children with reading...Enjoy a good book, teach the children how can they dream reading...The place of the imaginary in human life is vital!!!!

Lovely picture Isabela. The child looks great standing there and browsing books. Good capture in dual colours of this precious moment. A well composed image with an interesting message. Thanks.

Roberto

isa.
The ability to read is essential to being able to learn any subject taught in school. In our high tech society, proficiency in reading is a must to compete favorably in today’s job market. The information age is upon us. You can expect greater demands to be made upon reading ability.

As parents, it’s up to us to make sure that our children can read, write, spell and pronounce words correctly.

Help children enjoy reading and make them look forward to reading rather than dreading it.

YOU HAVE MADE A BOLD STEP HERE BY ADDING THIS IMAGE, WHICH WILL BE AN ENERGISER FOR CHILDREN, AND PARENTS TO REALISE WHAT READING DOES FOR THEIR KIDS..

congrats.

Hi Isa,

Perfect title and perfect note. I totally agree with you on power of books. They are more powerful knowledge source than any other media. But I still believe that coloured one was more better. anyway its your choice.

Hi isabea, this is omething I really like: Books! I love literature fiction books, only this year I read about 4 books and now I'm reading 2 more.
Nice photo, I like to see younger reading, something that I didn't do :(

Have a nice weekend
Andre

A wonderful note and photo, Isabela. I have always loved to read and it pains me that children do so little of it anymore. Great choice in the B&W. Kindest regards,
Shelly

salut, isa:)tare simpatic pustiulica, imi place incadrarea si compozitia, iar varianta a/n da imaginii si mai multa forta si expresivitate.

felicitari si sfarsit de saptamana placut,
oana

Hi Isabella.
Very cool. Great composition. B&W was a good choice. Good fun. Well done.
Regards, Steve.

Excelenta compozitie a/n. Copilul in fata bibliotecii-micut, dar neintimidat, dupa cum se pare. Idee foarte interesanta. Farmecul cartilor e departe de a fi epuizat...

TFS,

Andreea

Hi Isabela,
A great composition with a very nice Black and White for this scene that you captured perfectly.
Congratulations

Excellant choice here to use black and white, great contrast in the whole image.

Hello Isabela,
Superb title for this take on the tyke among the shelves. Seriously, I love to see children (and adults) in bookstores, and have to confess that I've never left a bookstore without making a deposit at the cash register. It's even more addictive a practie than TE.
Warm regards, and happy Mother's Day.

A very interesting note and a good B&W photo, Isabela.
Good composition at all.
My best wishes for you and for the children of the world!

sometimes i wonder if the kids of the future are going to find it hard to read books and be more comfortable with reading at computer .... just like most of us find it a bit hard to read articles and journals on computer
Just a thought
strong geometrical composition ... wanted to find some flaw ... but you seem to have done a pretty good job
te pup

You are very right (in your note) and this B&W photo is lovely, the attitude of the child so cute !
Bravo,
Cath.

I love it
