Photographer’s Note

Who knows what history took place under these rooftops - looking over them, they seem to be begging to tell their stories, but with words only the ghosts can hear. These are the lovely only streets of the town where Vlad Dracula "the Impailer", on whom the stories of Dracula were inspired by, was born in 1431.

I love rooftops and the way they always tell a lot about the place. With the history around (or under!) these, it only makes for a nicer picture. I agree with Pedro, excellent POV, putting the roofs against a beautiful green.

hi,dan.great POV from above the rooftops.
the old city is as charming in this picture as
in reality:)no cheap talk,i lived there for 4 years.
it`s very clean and green
however the pic has excellent sharpness and
cool colors.looks almost like a fairytale...
on dracula:)

Very nice shot - interesting angle. As others have said, nice rich colors. And lots of things to see as one moves their eye around the frame.

The roof in the lower right is a bit dark for my taste. And it seems to me that the bit of gray roof in the lower right corner intrudes.
