The old medieval transylvanian castle of Risnov is situated near Brasov on a beautiful hilltop overlooking the surrounding plains. This picture is taken in another direction towards the Carpathian mountains. A picture in the opposite direction with a view over the plains will be posted later.

This picture also looks good in B&W, but I liked the blue shades of the hills in the back and dark green forest so I kept it in color. The bottom part isn't too appealing, but I kept it in the picture too maintain a balance between foreground and background, this is essentialy the original composition.

I adjusted tone-curves, sharpened and added unsharp mask.
