Nice old woman with a lovely shy smile, you caught the moment. The slightly skewer composition matches her expression well and everything is in fine balance. And the whole image is so wonderfully filled with light, it's a joy to look at.

This captures both person and place. The tones are very inviting to me, and my interest is great when I see the woman. The tilt gives this a quirky sense of reality. Fun stuff!

Nice shot, Greg, and I see you've gone back to the square crop which used to be your trademark. ;-) I think the crop works rather well here as it really makes me focus on the two objects which are most important: the woman and her shadow. I just think you'd need to increase the contrast a bit as the image seems a little gray...apart from that a very nice shot. Good work.

Great backlit shot, Greg, and works very well in B&W. Perfectly composed and nicely balanced with the inclusion of all of the shadow. Cheers . . . David
