Photographer's Note

The title of this photo only attempts to catch your attention. But it is actually true.

This is Sighişoara, a town in Transylvania in central Romania where Vlad Ţepeş, a.k.a. Dracula, Prince of Wallachia, was born around 1431. He became known as a cruel ruler but was probably not much worse than most rulers in those days. He only has his name in common with the fictional character Dracula.

Sighişoara is a very nice town, classified by the UNESCO as a World heritage site. It is pretty enough to attract visitors from all over regardless of Dracula, but of course lots of shops, bars and restaurants try to cash in on the Dracula myth to attract more customers.

In two workshops I will show you more of this very pleasant small town.
