Photographer's Note

The Strand Park, situated in the lower part of the city along the Arges river, is one of the most popular places from Pitesti. There are boats for rent, a summer theatre, a mini-train for the kids, sport facilities and a football field. The water ditches are ruled by wild ducks. Good place for a long day walk.

Hello Daniel,
It seems that spring has at least arrived in Romania. That is some solace to us poor people of Stockholm who experienced another (short) snow-storm today. In a couple of weeks maybe we too can enjoy this kind of light shining through our parks. This is a pleasant composition with fine colours and good contrasts.

Hello Daniel - I like your composition very much, the graphic nature of the trees and shadows have been well captured. The sliver of green water adds a good contrast in texture. The shadows leading in from the LHC are particularly attractive. Warm regards rosemary

Missed this one. Well managed backlighting with good repetition & graphism of the dark, gaunt trees. Excellent sharpness & dappled light & shadow play in the fg. The reflections in the green tinted stream are nice too. Tfs!
