Photographer’s Note

The Palace of Justice (Palatul Justiţiei) in the city of Bucharest (Bucuresti), near Piata Unirii and Boulevard Natiunile Unite. It was built between 1890 and 1895. Designed by Romanian architects Albert Ballu and Ion Mincu in the style of the French renaissance. The recently remonaved, and impressive facade is almost 100 metres long. Located on the banks of the Dâmboviţa River, it houses the Bucharest Court of Appeal and the Sector 5 Court. Its last major restoration was between 2003 and 2006.

Hello Mikolaj,
A fine looking building, which does indeed seem to be in the French style. I like the point of view and the glimpse of the reflections in the lower part of the image. The stonework is beautifully rendered with lovely warm tones and superb detail. A good architectural image.

Ostrosc jak spod noza. Swietnie wykontrastowane zdjecie. Sam obiekt budzi tez zainteresowanie. Podoba mi sie trojkolorowa rumunska flaga na scianie.

Cześć Mikołaj, Interesujący pałacul, jak to zwykle z pałacami sprawiedliwości bywa - muszą robić wrażenie. Ładna symetria i jeszcze odbija się w wodzie. Ciekawy obiekt, świetnie zaprezentowany. Traiasca partidul! (takie były kiedys wszędzie napisy )

Sharpness, exposure, colors are all excellent!
I'd only wish you could have gotten a bit more of the reflection in the bottom of the picture! I think it'd look even nicer!

Czy sprawiedliwosc w Rumunii tez jest slepa? Szkoda, ze nie zlapales wiecej tego odbicia w rzece. Byloby jeszcze lepiej pod wzgledem koncowego efektu. Ale pewnie niepotrzebnie marudze.

Czolem Mikolaj!
Bardzo ciekawa kolorystyka, jakby kolory bylo z lekka rozwiodnione. Domyslam sie, ze swoj udzial mialo w tym mocne slonece, silnie prazace. Obiekt nad wyraz zagadkowy w sensie architektonicznym, tym bardziej zajmujacy uwage.
