* as noisy as can get - in a dark club, as late it can get ... still i find dance fascinating (to click, watch and dance (though i must admit that lately when i have a camera in my hand, i rather click) ... even more when performed by professional dancers, over and over, hour after hour

** if you're in "that" mood, why not listen to Jacques Brel's Ne Me Quitte Pas (thankful for Bulent Atalay's suggestion at another dance posting of mine and i think to myself)

*** this one's for jp, i know i promissed more dance eons ago but ... i'm still digging last year's archives, sorry for that, but am still kinda photographically 'hibernating' for the time being

**** not (intended) sepia (i don't even like sepia much), i only played around a bit with tones

***** noisy image ;o), just as shapes and shadows 2

Hi Teo,

You really surprise me with this presentation...
Thank you :)

The interesting element is how lights can be kept perfect in angles to create the shapes.
The high view does add magic, and I think, it's your unique way of presenting the dance moods.. and it does emit the energy stored..
Lights, shapes, shadows... and the touch of passion which cares life's finest moods, together with the grainy smiles make this appear interesting..
It's a class in it's own !!
Promises are smiles, dear friend.. I appreciate your friendly smiles at me..
Always the best :)

Hi Teodora,

nice composition, I like the way you focused and the light and shadow effect, good work,

Regards

Sergio

Minunate tonuri, minunat noise, frumos lucrat, Dora!
Da, merge foarte bine 'Ne me quitte pas' :)
Cele bune :)

Hi Teodora, A very curious one from the thumbnail, at first thought I see two snakes facing each other...Great lighting and choice of BW medium, the faded lines of the floor tiles really is a plus.I hope you dont carry your camera with you when dancing :>>>..Thanks for sharign...Alex

I like your pp work here, the melancholic transformation attracts my attention and the sprinkling of noise, nice pp work. Congrats

What a pity we can not listen to Jacques Brel! It would make the ultimate posting on TE. I am a fan of Jacques Brel and I may have almost all of his records.
For the photo, well the photo is one of the most beautiful B&W I have seen lately.
Antonio

Hello Teodora,

Of the two shadows, I like this one the most. It feels more balanced. I don't know why. Maybe it is the off-center placement and the light. Or maybe it is the straight pose of the couple, in combination with the diagonal pattern of the tiles. Anyhow, I like it a lot!

Greetings,
Dennis

This hommage to Brel is a superb one. "Ne Me Quitte Pas" is probably the sadest song i've ever heard but still i love it. The video is with Dutch subtitles, that's big plus ;-)
The woman looks like.....well, if she's got a tail. So who is she, the devil in seducing the man? ;-)
The light is truly amazing here, just as their pose...timing Dora, great timing. I like her high heels, just as her fingers against the man and their shadows on the tiles. A bit off center, half in the light and shadow, it all fits very well together.
The noise? Oh well, you know how i like that :P
;-)
