Photographer’s Note

One of the best TE meetings in Romania , was at Balea Lake, my favorite place in my country.
Anyway, because I was the leader of the group I made the choice of the location, lucky me :)
In the morning when almost all TE members where at chalet sleeping , me and Jerome went out to catch the sunrise....
Good joke, since we saw only this white fog coming :)
You can see when the picture was taken ....5.13 am :)
Crazy people :)

Hi Isabela,

you know I would have probably cropped out most of that fog .. I would have ended up with more green .. but would have completely destroyed the sense of vastness your image communicates .. the effect of the buildings in such a stark and rugged place is startling ..

I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back .. got up for a sunrise .. drove out to my location .. watched the cloud roll right over the top of me .. I will try to post mine in a couple days.

The fog is very interesting to composition.

We avoid the white sky very often. But in this case the white sky and fog, they make the photograph very interesting, with some mystical feeling.
