The central square in Sibiu is surrounded by the old town. Middle of the square is an original fountain with ornate grilles. A little further jump jets from the soil - to the amusement of young and old.
"Sibiu (Romanian pronunciation: [siˈbiw], antiquated, Sibiiu; German: Hermannstadt, Hungarian: Nagyszeben) is a city in Transylvania, Romania, with a population of 147,245. Located some 215 km (134 mi) north-west of Bucharest, the city straddles the Cibin River, a tributary of the river Olt. Now the capital of Sibiu County, between 1692 and 1791 and 1849-1865 Sibiu was the capital of the Principality of Transylvania.
Sibiu is one of the most important cultural centres of Romania and, in tandem with the city of Luxembourg, it was designated a European Capital of Culture for the year 2007. Formerly the centre of the Transylvanian Saxons, the old city of Sibiu was ranked as "Europe's 8th most idyllic place to live" by Forbes......"

What to say to this photo? Simple, outstanding monochrome photo in superb light, excellent mirroring. Well done my friend.

A good idea to cut the person, focusing only on the water reflection, and turning the picture upside down. I wonder if I would not cut the legs and feet to get a more interrogative picture.

what an interesting composition here! I like the treatment with monochrome. The idea is superb to present it upside down. Nice graphism created by the iron gate and the textures of the pavement. The lady in reflection is looking excellent. Overall it looks like a dream. Tfs.

A fine and inventive picture from the grand square of Sibiu, a place that is very inviting for all kinds of photography. The combination of details - real and reflected - has created an intriguing composition.

I enjoy your picture.
A very composition, you you had the good idea to rotate the image and to show it in black and white.

love the impressionistic result of your composition. The cold blur tones are gorgeous as well. Congrats on your photographic eye!

An excellent variation on the theme "inverted reflections"! There is strange mood in this picture, with the faint picture of the reflected woman. Her "real" feet, upside down, look quite peculiar here but the rest is very imaginative.

Smart work. I like the vertical flip you've employed. And the blue toning works very well in this context. I must look at puddles more closely!

Hello Wolfgang, a warm greeting after a few days of absence for a week getaway north of Portugal, sister country on the Iberian Peninsula. Very good picture of this beautiful and interesting composition with reflections on the floor, very well captured in this interesting image, with very good quality. Excellent and interesting job perfectly done, congratulations my friend. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work.
Good night and happy week.
Best wishes from southern Spain.

The inverted reflections on the shallow puddle works well and so does the conversion to B&W. What's interesting is the part of the feet of the lady is in person, while the balance we see in the reflection...clever crop indeed!
