Photographer's Note
a motif, I posted several times before: The eyes of Sibiu. They are roof windows mainly in the Large Square (Piata Mare). Originally designed as observation points in case of an invasion, nowadays they give a human touch to the colorful old buildings in the square, offering them somewhat of a personality

Hello Adrian,
This is a wonderful composition. I visited Romania this year and saw many of these fine roofs and windows, not only in Sibiu, but I never managed a picture as good as this. This is shot from a beautiful POV where the "eyes" look disturbingly human. The strong diagonal lines and the contrast between the red bricks and the blue sky are fine ingredients in this composition.

Hello Adrian,
The image is very curious and singular, who designed the roof and those windows that look like eyes, was an artist.
A good composition with excellent graphics and colors.
Best wishes,
Charo

this is architecture detail, but thanks to the title, it becomes humoristic
very good idea,

Original take on this familiar scene. The title adds to the shot. Nice work, Adrian, I like it. Cheers.

Hai sa traiesti,
Frumos vazut, morocanos cat cuprinde...ce naiba ai cautat tu sa deranjezi, nu pot sa stiu...Ai grija, e ceva dubios in privirea aia :P

Bonjour Adrian,
J'aime bien cet humour de la photo qui nous fait prendre ces ouvertures dans le toit pour des yeux endormis. Ne parle-t-on pas aussi de la "couverture" du toit ?
Amicalement

Hi Adrian
Not for nothing do we call this style of architectural detail 'eyebrow' windows. This shot portrays the idea perfectly.
Well seen and delightfully proportioned in your view finder or on your desk to provide a provocative image.
I would have tried it squarer, perhaps you did, but you would lose the strength of the long diagonal feature if so.
