Autumn In Transilvania Photo

Photographer’s Note

After watching the nearby mountains gradually change colour over the past few weeks, I found myself having to scramble lately to capture some nice autumn images as the leaves have changed very fast in the past week and some trees are losing their leaves without them changing at all. Many trees have gone from green to dead brown without passing through red and yellow. I fear global warming is having an impact.

Your picture is very nice! I like the composition and the colors.
The mist in the back gives a very thriling impression : it really looks like a forbidden forest and one more step ahead will get you in a halloween nightmare!

Beautiful! The mist adds mystery and atmosphere, and the details and color in the foreground are great. Looks like a forest from a fairy tale, where you don't know what lies ahead.

Hello, I like this forest shot most of others. The composition,POV and deep is relay good and I feel the forest mood.

Hi Steve&Iona, don't know which one of you took this one and this serie but this is really good, i love the mood there and the fog / light you get there, i'm just a little bit disturbed by the upper sky which is quite burnt and even if it's little in that particular case that perturbs a little bit my eyes.
Excellent anyway
